About This Activity
Krabi's pristine waters offer endless opportunities for water sports enthusiasts. From peaceful kayaking through mangrove forests to thrilling scuba diving adventures, there's something for everyone.
Sea kayaking is particularly popular, allowing you to explore hidden lagoons, limestone caves, and secluded beaches at your own pace. Guided kayak tours through Ao Thalane mangrove forest provide close encounters with diverse marine life and spectacular karst scenery. Night kayaking tours offer a magical experience with bioluminescent plankton illuminating the water.
Snorkeling is excellent at many nearby islands, with vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical fish. For certified divers, Krabi offers access to world-class dive sites including the famous King Cruiser Wreck and Hin Daeng/Hin Muang (Red Rock/Purple Rock). PADI courses are available for beginners wanting to get certified.
Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is also popular in the calmer bays, and sunset SUP sessions are particularly beautiful. Windsurfing and kitesurfing are available during the windy season.
