Railay Beach is the epicenter of climbing in Krabi, featuring stunning cliff faces that tower over pristine beaches. The unique limestone formations provide excellent grip and a variety of challenging routes. Deep water soloing (DWS) is also popular here, where climbers scale cliffs above deep water without ropes, jumping or falling into the sea below.
Professional climbing schools offer half-day and full-day courses with certified instructors. Beginners can learn the basics on easier routes, while experienced climbers can tackle challenging overhangs and multi-pitch climbs. Equipment rental and guided climbing services are readily available.
